    Talking Wheels

    What is the most popular?

    Size?

    Offset?

    Backspacing?

    Center Bore?

I have to buy tires soon and need to see what works and looks best for a wheel upgrade.

Those are the types I want to buy as well. I am curious as to the best offset and back spacing. I see 26MM to 54MM. I think stock we are at 35MM. With about 6 back spacing.

At minimum I would plan powder coat my original stock RS6 wheels in Titanium.

    Stock 18's is 30mm, 19's is 35mm. I'm running OEM S5 5 spoke with a 4mm custom spacer=28mm. A5's and S5's center bore is 66.56mm compared to all other Audis which are 57.1mm.

Did anyone actually do this? I am thinking of powdercoating my original stock 18s in Titanium (or darker). Any pics? Does the powdercoat hold up OK? What did it cost?

My car is Daytona Gray so I'm thinking of changing it up a bit with a gray-out (gray wheels, smoked tails, black grills).

I run A5/S5 rims also. 5mm spacer on the front although the difference in offset is only 3mm less than the OEM rims. I'm also pretty certain the OEM's are 38mm offset - not 30mm.

WOW...that looks really, really nice! I'm generally not a fan of changing to newer OEM wheels (because they rarely match up with the older car's lines), but THAT is a really nice look; clean, conservative, and fills out the huge wheel wells nicely.
