    In early summer 2009 S5 Coupe will get 3.0TFSI and other A5 Coupe models will get S Tronic.

    look at the side there is a V6 T instead of the V8 ... so if this are official pics ... it's going to be a V6 T

    A5/S5 Cabriolet want be delivered before april '09, in that same time S5 Coupe will recieve 3.0 T engine...

    Das Spitzenmodell der neuen Cabriolet-Baureihe von Audi ist das S5 Cabriolet. Der Buchstabe S steht für Sport – für Dynamik, Performance und Power, aber auch für verblüffende Effizienz.


    ls Antrieb des Audi S5 Cabriolet dient ein neu entwickelter, aufgeladener Dreiliter-V6. Ein mechanischer Lader setzt den 3.0 TFSI unter Druck – mit imposantem Ergebnis. Die Leistung gipfelt bei 245 kW (333 PS), das Drehmoment liegt zwischen 2.900 und 5.300 1/min konstant bei satten 440 Nm. Der mächtige Schub und das spontane, bissige Ansprechen vermitteln ein faszinierendes Fahrerlebnis. Das S5 Cabriolet katapultiert sich in 5,6 Sekunden von null auf 100 km/h und weiter auf abgeregelte 250 km/h Topspeed. Im Mittel verbraucht es jedoch nur 9,6 Liter Kraftstoff pro 100 km (vorläufige Werte).

    Das Audi S5 Cabriolet rollt serienmäßig mit der servotronic, der Siebengang S tronic und dem quattro-Antrieb von Band, das Sportdifferenzial ist optional zu bekommen. Ein Sportfahrwerk bringt die Karosserie nah an die Straße heran. Auf den 18-Zoll-Gussrädern sind Reifen im Format 245/40 aufgezogen, die schwarzen Bremssättel tragen S5-Embleme. Das Akustikverdeck, Xenon plus-Scheinwerfer, elektrisch verstellbare Sportsitze mit Alcantara-/Leder-Bezügen und ein Multifunktions-Sportlederlenkrad sind ebenfalls Serie.

    Diverse Design-Features tragen zur sportlichen Differenzierung bei, darunter Modifikationen an den Bug- und Heckschürzen, am Singleframe-Grill, an den Lufteinlässen und an den Auspuffrohren. Im Innenraum unterstreichen spezielle Sitzbezüge, Türeinstiegsleisten und Dekoreinlagen in mattem, gebürstetem Aluminium den hochwertig-dynamischen Stil des Topmodells. Die Skalen der Instrumente sind in Grau gehalten, ihre Zeiger weiß beleuchtet.

    My Audidealer told me that the A5 Cabrio should be in the German configurator on the 26th of January or on the 2nd of February (5th or 6th week)
