Yes well, in the US we refer to the ROW as "Europe."

US population = 300 million, ROW population = 6.7 billion

But, Europe population = 730 million

That means Europe represents only about 10% of ROW (China and India are both in excess of 1.0 billion), so saying "Europe" and meaning ROW is nowhere near accurate.

Accurate or not, the US is used to using the word European for all models sold outside the country. Not trying to justify anything here, just saying how it is. Sorry if I have offended anyone.
