    Quandry....

Folks, just got a call from my service advisor at Audi MV, basically, my insurance company will pick up 2 DRC (although they've only provided the shocks thus far) and so my service advisor and technician are both telling me that I might as well hang onto the shocks and try to sell them and just pay an aftermarket setup. He thinks that the Stasis setup will run me about $3k installed. So, I guess we're back to what so many people have asked... Stasis? KW V3? But more importantly, how much do you guys think I can get for the shocks??? And should I do it??

Greg, I think you may have trouble selling shocks that have a known poor history, even if they are brand new.
I really do not know buddy, but my gut instinct is you will struggle to sell the stock shocks.
So fast, it will re-arrange yer trousers!!

Alex, ya, that's what I'm thinking too. To be honest, I am very much leaning towards an aftermarket solution simply because even if the issue is resolved this time, who knows when the DRC will come to bite me on my ass again.

Have your service advisor "bill" the insurance co for the value of the two, then pay the difference for the KW's. WIN, WIN....

    Or is that insurance fraud?

hahaha, well, that was the original plan but because my car went to a AAA approved body shop first, the body shop picked up all the parts and sent them to my dealership. Of course, as with everything in this car, NOTHING IS EASY!!
