Long delivery time

Is the delivery time in other european countries (i'm from Switzerland) also more than 7 month for the RS6 ?

Or will the delivery time speed up a little bit in 2003 ?

mhhh the delivery time you mention is the "offical" delivery time from quattro gmbh... just ask some dealers... normally it should be no problem to get one "custom-made" in under 4 months. if you just want one without special configuration you can get it next day (in germany).

The delivery time in Sweden is about 6-7 months, just checked.

But for the right money I guess you can buy one straight off some dealer who bought if for show.

What is the problem ?

I think they are not able to get the engines faster. The body shouldn't be a problem.

Does somebody know if it's true that the RS6 is limited to 2000 pieces ?

The RS6 is not limited as far as I know, I guess they plan to build around 6.000 pcs. (to be compared with about 15.000 M5 E39s bulit.)
