Ben - Ya, the Evora is something that I've thought about for a while but...

    1. Not really looking for a brand new car.
    2. The Evora is 1350kg, almost a whopping 500kg more than the Elise! I already have a heavy car in the RS6, don't need another one.
    3. The Evora is a 2+2, again, as I have a wonderful sedan, this car is really just a commute/fun car, not a car for taking a lot of people out.

Now, if I were contemplating selling my RS6 and replacing it with a single car, then the evora would instantly leap to the top of my list.

If this thread doesn't die I'm going to crap my pants!!!

Respectfully, this question should have been asked in a Lotus forum. Elise or Exige? No one cares! Do you want a convertible or not? Done - Question answered. It seems like your mind is made up anyway so there was no need to solicit 100 other opinions that haven't had anything to do with current Lotus models and instead have only been suggestions on other types and brands of cars, motorcycles and even future cars.

Sorry for the bad mood. But this thread which has nothing to do with Audi is quite out of hand and going nowhere.
If you never exceed the limits, how do you know where they are?

LOL, this thread had been gone for weeks until Ben mentioned the Evora. FWIW, I did post this question on various lotus forums but the primary motivation for posting the question here is because I respect the opinion of my fellow RS6 owners.

damn you people!! Making me forage out of the RS6 thread, I say it's all Ben's fault. This thread would've died a quiet death if he hadn't brought up the evora!!!!! :P

    Haha, just kidding.

    Wait a sec....

    Let's re-examine this... shall we?

    1. Ducky wanna new toy.
    2. Ducky postes in his favorite area a non RS6 question.
    3. Ben points, along with others, the plus/minus of non RS6 Ducky toy.
3.5 Blitzen feels a strong BM urge.
    4. Thread dies, kinda.
    5. Opps, Ben revives 'Toy' thread via seagull management.
    6. Blitzen "craps his pants".
    7. Benman moves thread to proper non RS6 area.
    8. Schmoocher is scared of the dark and nearly cries online.
    9. Ducky still wants his new non RS6 toy.
    10. Ducky throws the blame dart...

    hmmmmm....
Anyway, how's the search on the Exige?

Nice post. But more like that and we'll need to re-move it to Off Topic.

I, for one, will not cry or be scared of the dark if it's moved again.

Duckie might not be able to find it though....

    Either way, I am done...

LOL, damn you all!! Anyway, back on topic... I originally thought that the Hornburg Santa Monica car for $32K was an interesting deal and that I could probably get it for <$30K out the door but they've been pretty hard at bargaining and considering that I'll be on the road for a few more weeks, I'll probably start to more seriously think about it when I get home but also casting a wider net as prices in our market tend to be a bit more inflated.

That is a good idea DWD, our neck of the woods is much more inflated than a few hundred miles out. Expand the search area for sure.

Ya, much to my chagrin, that's what happened when I bought my RS6. Can't make that same mistake again!
