    yeah - softtop...

    i generally don't like cabrios ... but IMO it look better

    Good to hear.

    The A5/S5 platform looks much better than its rivals. I think the S5 has equal presence to the M3 on the road. The M3 might look that bit more sporty but the S5 has much more class and still looks sporty enough. (I dont think of them as rivals, but its just an example).

    I hate the 335i covertible, it's hardtop might function great but it doesnt look good. The rear window is oddly big and looks weird.

    i also like the S5 more than the M3 ... moreover, the comming RS5 is going to compete against the M3

    Certainly a softtop (Audi made the decision some time ago to keep all convertibles as softtop versions) which is said to look very nice. Friend of mine has seen some undisguised prototype cars already. They are struggling with some softtop problems but these should be resolved until SOP.

    The softtop problems are a combination of design and conctruction.
    It's not possible to give a softtop any design you like construction wise, you have te compromise to get a good result.

    i don't understand why audi doesn't compete in the SL/650ci class... i bet they could make a great a8 coupe hard top convertible thing

    i know about the a7, posted an article about it on audizine, but the a7 isn't going to be convertible... i want audi to make a hardtop convertible rs5 or something
