    "RS" naming change?

i read that porsche is worrie about that audi have tried to name their Audi TT high performance version "RS". so porsche said thats our shortname for high performance models.

i find that crap, has audi now complete makeover their naming? cant they use RS badge anymore in future? i it will be called TT-R and not TT-RS. TT-R sounds like TT-Roadster or R line from VW (R32 .....) if it would get called "R" then audi has 3 high performance model names RS, R, and S but the funny is R is not different from RS its the same !

Every thread you have ever started says, Audi's future?? stop being so afraid Audi is a very large car company and won't just shut down. Just sit back and relax audi isn't going anywhere.

but a example audi cant use the name TT RS. thats absoloutly BS. i hate porsche for that. audi should take another name for their extreme sport models and not RS. (skoda has also Oktavia RS..... or subaru has on one model RS plate too). so audi would call it TT-R which is otherwise a "TT-RS" but "R" has also VW with (R32 .......). for what stands "R"? RS is "renn sport". but "R" ??? "renn" (translatet racing) doesent even make sense. it could be also "R"oadster. absoloutly naming-salad. also the RS logo would be different. what do you think?

P.S: hasent audi a TT-R from the MK1? when yes, please a link!

Audi always puts RS before (vor) the model number. Only the TT was designated to go with TT-RS after the TTS. Audi will simply call it TTR.

Originaly, RS prefix was passed from Porsche to Audi when Audi RS 2, first RS Audi, was developed...

Skoda sport models are actually called vRS...
