New Beetle Dune Buggy.
How Cool would this be, if Volkswagen actually produced it? I personally think it would be really cool and great fun.
Just jack up the suspension on a Golf VR6, 4 Motion drive train, with the New Beetle's Body work and hey presto! Voila! One of the most fun cars of the year. If only they made it.
Interior :
"Aluminum paneling and leather-trimmed walls make a sleek pair on the inside of the Dune. Plus, they add a lot of durability and protection. Even with unfamiliar landscapes out the window, you could feel right at home cradled in a woven seat with a personal, climatized cooler at your side. "
Exterior:
"The shape may seem familiar, but this isn't the New Beetle. There are 18-inch aluminum wheels, double stainless steel tail pipes, massive bumpers and protective side rails. All to prove the fun doesn't have to end where the pavement does."
Technology:
"From the tires to the roof, the New Beetle Dune is outfitted with Volkswagen's latest feats in engineering and design; comfort and durability. But all this new technology is more than just a concept. It's a sign of things to come. "
OffRoad settings:
Motorway/Highway settings:
4Motion:
Sorry about the low quality pictures, they were sauced from a not soo good website.

Obviously it isn't new, but it is a Concept car.
And the "new" in the "new beattle dune buggy" title has been handed over to all the "new beattle"s as part of it's official title. So, I wasn't refering to it being new on the scene. Hope it clears it up abit.
