Any words of warning against it?
I'm out of my 2000 A8 and looking either at the previous generation S8, or the RS6.
This RS6 has been listed a few times and the reserve/BIN price is down to $30K I think, which seems at least $5 to 7K lower that others in than condition and mileage.
Thanks.
Well no, it was extremley well maintained at least up untill we gave it back. Probably the best care my dad has taken on any car. All services were done up untill we gave it back. It looks like this second owner did the same. As you can see from the description the torque converter was replaced ( so thats a plus). The car is not chipped now ( he actually changed the ECU back to stock).
The car has a full milltek exhaust which sounds awesome
I dont think you can go wrong with that car.
Ohh and was never in any accidents according to carfax. ( i can only attest to the time that we had it and there were no accidents at all. After we gave it back i checked carfax and it seems like it was never in an accident since.)

Well the RS6 has been in a tough market. Ever since we gave ours back even though Book value was high it was really hard to sell this car. Now that the prices have gone down i would say the market should get a little better. But its still very hard to get what these cars are really worth.

In this condition and with gas prices going to where they are, I personally doubt these cars will ever fetch what they're "suppose" to. Which is a shame. Well, maybe not for those of us who plan to hang onto theirs for a while.
