Rare. Chalcedony blue SL55 AMG.

Wow!

This exact colour was the one we were going to go for. On a S500, going back a few years.

I must say, it looks so much better on the SL, but somehow I still wouldn't choose it over Black.

Looks nice, a more elegant color in my opinion than the usual blacks/silvers/dark blues which makes the car look sporty.

I really like the color, since our toy is next to a pure silver (not with the blue touch) it's easy to see the difference. I prefer the silver with blue touch, it's not by far as "boring" as the pure silver.

Must say I'm quite satisfied with the color since we coulnd't choose when buying the car (in Jan. 2002). If we had been able to choose colorcombination/equipment I guess that it would have looked quite different.

More pics is coming, ofcourse with a better camera and in a better place then the boring carport...

Will post those pics later, has already took pics of the Z4 but will wait with the post until I've done the same with the Merc.
