    Minimum Thickness for the Rotors

    Hey All,

I am thinking about sending my rotors out to have them Ceramic Coated for 2 reasons. The first is to have them cleaned up (look cool) + corosion resistant and the other is to have the temperature of the rotor increase preventing warping from heat.

My rotors are worn in and they may be at the point where i need to purchase new ones which then i wil have the new rotor ceramic coated instead.

If i send out my current ones, they will be coated, then they will need to be turned to remove the ceramic from the pad wear area. But what is the minimum thickness for worn rotors? Dont want to spend unnecessary funds.

    brake thickness is 34mm, with a 2mm wear limit (i.e. 32mm)
