Rate the BMW 5

I've noticed some big differences in the opinions of people about the new 5 series.

So I thought .. lets make a poll so we can have a clear about
everybody's opinion on this new 5 series..

I voted "I like it ...but its not *wow*."

Well...I would vote for..."It'll be great to drive known BMW but the looks are hideous"... so the looks and aesphetics are important for everyday use and functionality...The New 5 is lacking in that department. I don't even think that I'll be tempted by the Next Generation M5 either .

Why don't you wait for the new Audi A6 which will be here next year?

But I still find it awfull... even if you look at the dashboard... they must been thinking... oeh lets put anothers bump on to that and lots more of that... I think its a messy dash.

But well get used to it I guess..

I had the opportunity to see the E60 5 up close and in person last week at BMW NA hq. In my opinion, the car looks better in the flesh than in the pics; just have to see it in 3D to appreciate the proportions a bit more.

It's not a piece of art, but it does look better than what the pics convey. Can't wait to see how the E60 in M form will look like
