Mech Important NEWS about Avatars and Signatures!

There are some news in the forum.

In most cases you don't have to do anything.
But if you are using an image in your signature, please remove the HTML code so it looks better.

Good news - You can now upload your custom Avatar (the 150 x 150 pixle picture under your user name)
    http://www.rs6.com/forum/profile.php?do=editavatar

Bad news - IMG tags = image tags = pictures in your signatures have been disabled. This will give the forum a cleaner look.

aw man. Erik, could you not just limit the size of sigs? The forum would still look clean...

I wish, but for some reason the software doesn't want to listen.

Can someone tell me how to adjust a photo to make it 150 x 150 pixels?

Erik, I'm trying to get the photo I e-mailed to you to work (if it would be easy for you to do, I would be stoked)! Thanks for the feature. I think it will make the forum less sterile and give it more personality!
If you never exceed the limits, how do you know where they are?

You "simply" use a program like Photoshop, http://www.acdsee.com/ or similar.

I haven't used photoshop, so I took a low tech route to obtain a smaller photo. I pasted the full size picture in an email to myself, then used the attachment edit button in Outlook to downsize the photo. Then I dragged it to my desktop and uploaded.
