    Audi RSR in September

    According to Auto Motor Sport Audi will show the 420 hp strong Audi RSR in IAA in Frankfurt in September.

    it will be GREAT to see audi release a high performance
    flagship. it would be nicer to see them launch one with
    higher specs. the problem is they can't get to close to the
    new lambo's performance

    I heard from audinews.info the audi cancelled the developement of the RSR due to compitition with the new lambo. has anyone else heard this?

    audinews.info is not the most reliable source on the internet.

    What was it? A V8 in the next TT? Doubt that.

    In any case I'm planning to visit the IAA so we should know by mid Septemebr at least.

    It will get an engine with about 400 hp ( less than the RS6 ), but it also will be veeeeeeeeeery light. So the car will have an enormus performance...
    In addition to that, there may be some tuner ( like abt or oettinger ) who will give this car much more power. Than it will be a rival for Ferrari Enzo and Porsche Carrera GT.
