Interesting to see that when your first source didn't get it right you find another one...

Gabriel343, have you been to the Nürburgring?
    Do you go there often?

Gustav and I toasted a Boxster S in his M3 on the highway.
    Many times too! Great fun!

    Yes Gabriel, Iīm sure

6900rpm in 5 gear and full gas tank.

And Erik B, I was refering to the Boxster as being the fastest, not the Carrera with hardtop on the left.

    That's what I thought too.

How the did you fit a 996 3.4l in the Boxster?

Is it as hard as it sounds or easy?

Itīs easy, lots of German companies are making this. Itīs a two/three working days job. New headers, exhaust and some other mods are necessary, but those parts are already in stock, thatīs way itīs so fast. Have it for the last two and half years, with zero problems. FVD, RUF, TTP, Gemballa, PSI MOTORSPORT are only some of the companies who makes it.

Bothe engines 2.5L and 3.4L have the same volume. Only difference is that 3.4L engine ia just a bit taller, round about 8cm. New gearbox mounts are needed, intake is also modified and motroni box is from the 996 engine.

Sorry, this M3 is not mine. My friendS of Roma take 303 km/h without speed limit (M3 E46) and 290 (M3 3.2 E36).
270 the firm Boxter to or mistake?

All tuner declare 290 effectives without speed limiter. My M3 in fifth speed it indicates 265 to 8000 rpm

i think that it is not that obvious that you would say goodbye to the RS4 while driving your M3. two days ago i met an M5, we had a nice race but he did't have chance to keep up with me although i know he tried. he was close during the first and a bit of the second gear but later it was just "bye bye M5"
