this is normal driving, tank refil (averge fill about 95 liters):

    best : 8.1 l/100 km

    poor: 15.6 l/100 km

Best is less than quarter of the tank on autobahn, driving within posted speed limit and no full throttle accel.

Poor is more than half of the tank on autobahn with 1 ton cargo load at about 200 km/h ....

Your averege will vary prety much depending on your driving style - digital mode (throttle/brake) will easily bring you up to 14-16 l/100 km range even on country roads. Smooth drive, no stop light racing and about 30% autobahn (read up to 150 km/h) will keep the consumption between 10-11 l/100 km.

It seems to me that the Shell V-Power diesel helps little the performance once rolling, not sure if the price difference is worth or not.

As I am British I work in old money so you will have to convert yourselves.

In my Q7 3.0TDi S-Line, I am getting an average of 22mpg with a long journey best of 27.3mpg and a worst of 13.4mpg when it hell for leather with the foot down (well I'm called Leadfoot for a reason you know ).

I hope this will improve as the miles build up and the engine begins to free up.
Search and you will find the truth.
