It uses some elements of Q7 V12 TDI isn't it?
By the way it looks very good!

I love the front end but I reckon the arches and sills need to be filled out a little to reflect the differences that the RS4 has over the standard S4.

They're going to turbo the RS4 engine? 500lb/s torque?! Holy shit I hope that's true.. that's insane.

Well, i have another bid to how the RS5 is going to look. I think it will be more with the same type of styling as old RS-models, and not as radical as the one above.

Please have in mind, that i'm not the best when it comes to photoshop.

Here i the front of the RS5:

Soon, i will also render the rear of the RS5, although i think the one above is pretty close to what it's going to look like.

    Regards.

    MPT,

I agree that the blue car is a bit extreme, but by the same token I feel this white is a little to close to the current S5. If you look at the S4 compared to the RS4 you see a much bolder styling but the differences between the S5 and this RS5 just not enough in my opinion.

For starters if it does get a Bi-turbo engine you will see vents on the bonnet, plus the side grilles will be a little bit bigger to help cool the brakes and the engine. The wheels arches will also be bigger to allow for a wider wheel and wider track, it will also have some sort of aeroflow aid at the back similar it style to the S3 but beefier. And finally it will lose the three small vents below the main grille.

Some of it i will agree with you in. Like the larger wheel-arches (they are widened A LOT in my photoshop, just isn't easy to make the shadows that vicible on a white car).

What i won't agree with you in is (because i don't see a TT RS5 as a possibility), that it will get bonnet-vents.

The small vents on the main grill, isn't there on the S5 - these are "enhanced" from the B7 S4 to the B7 RS4, and i think they will be there on the RS5.

Regarding the engine, i think we will see the 4.2FSI V8 from the RS4, maybe with a bit new technique, and a power-heek to maybe 440-450hp.

    Kind Regards.

Well the wheel arches are something we both agree with, they will be bigger than on either of the present A5s.

I agree that using the present RS4 engine will be the easiest option for Audi and depending when the RS5 is released will determine what spec to expect from the car, if it's next year then it will be the normal RS4 engine, if the year after that .... who knows, it might be Bi-turboed.

The small vents aren't in the TT/S-line and as this car too is a coupe this might be the theme the separate the saloon from the coupe, again until the car is in front of us we will have to wait.

As for the output of the RS5, if the car comes next year then a little increase is all we can expect, maybe as little as 10hp but with that a little increase in torque as well.
