Just like Tiff himself, I didn't expect him to like the handling that much. It might be the first time he drives a 4WD, and doesn't mention it would be better off being RWD.

Was talking to a very talented racing driver yesterday, someone with Le Mans, Sebring, Daytona etc. experience at the highest levels and he said that in most cases a RWD car will be the quicker on a track compared to an AWD car, say an M3 compared to a S4 but for anything other than a professional race driver the AWD will always be the quicker.
So, here's my take on his statement. 'The guy driving a rwd hi-performance car think they are a great driver but ultimately will be the slower than the guy who thinks he's an OK driver who drives an awd car'
As for the R8, he's driven it and he's opinion is that the car is one of the best balanced road cars he has ever driven. Very high praise indeed.
