    C4 A6 actually; but, yea that's pretty stupid. Bet the 2.8 V6 still runs though.

    Stupid man...By the way, in a situation like this which is the maximum speed which engine can reach? I mean is it limited to 6-7000rpm or it can run even higher?
    I ask this because i heard that in newer Audi engines the maximal engine speed is limited at the redline...(of course in low-rev engines)

    There is a limiter, but im not sure that it always works though. My Audi 90 has a 2.3l in-line 5-cyl. It is supposed to have a limiter at around 6700rpm, but it does rev above 7000rpm's

    The engine in this car is limited to 6400 RPMs. Which, with the 4 speed automatic transmission, limits the top speed to 130 mph. 6400 RPMs is the redline.
