RS3 ??

In a report of a german carmagazin they have mentioned an RS3. The article was normaly about the new VW Passat. There they said, that they'll build an R32 Passat with a motor from the RS3. This one would have more than 300 hp.
Anyone knowing more about that?

I think the RS3 will be built, but who knows the specs at this time?

wow, how much power will it have???? The "normal" W12 with 6 litres displacement has got 420hp...
Very chancy from VW to build this when seeing the sales from the phaeton.

I read somewhere, that they are talking about 350 HP.. but hwo knows? .. it will have more than 300 for sure .. we`ll see

I read it too, from the British equivalent to Autovisie - AutoCar.

Because the have been breaking all sales records with the regular Phaeton I am sure it will be a awsome car but will it make them any money.......I doubt it. Sadly, as good a car as the Phaeton is in the end I think it will end up a financial disaster.

I was just about to scan this same (computer generated!) picture.
Some more RS3 info according to Autovisie:
- available mid 2006
- 3.2 FSI V6 Turbo
- 350 hp, 450 Nm torque
- 1560 kg (4,46 HP/Kilo)
- DSG transmission
- Haldex electronic power distribution between all wheels
- Top speed 250 km/h (expected unlimited 275 km/h)
- 235/40 18 inch tires
- no limit on production numbers (for exclusivity)

Also available as station wagon (Sportback, Avant): 10 cm longer.

Other new models info:
- S3 available in 2005, with 280 3.2 V6 FSI, without turbo.
- Next generation Allroad, available in beginning 2006, combination of Pikes Peak and current Allroad. Will be built in the Touareg factory, will be 30 cm longer then Toureg.
- S8 in 2005 with 500 hp RS6 engine
- S6 will be produced.

Not all of this information is confirmed by Audi, I believe, but it looks promising.
