    Best Tires for RS6

    Bonjour,

For a customer of mine, I wanted to know what is your best choice of tires for the RS6. I actually don't sell tires but want to provide him good advice from reliable sources (meaning you from this great forum)....

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Cheers,
    Frederic

I've just put on a new set of PS2's, replacing Dunlops. I am very impressed with the ride and the lack of noise, which was a complaint I had of the Dunlops.

I've just ordered a set of Michelin PS2's, wondering what you guys paid?

    I've paid about 660 CHF a piece, that's about 405 EUR or 540 USD.

I love my PS2's! Anyone tried the Avon tires? I'm thinking about them for my next set if they are up to task.

If you think the Michelin PS2's are good you really need to try the Sony version, it's even better.
Search and you will find the truth.

    avon m500

I have the avon m500 and found them to be a great tire at a great price. Haven't had them on the track yet, or put many miles on them. they have gotten very good reviews and I paid $188 usd a piece.

Dunlop SP9000's came with the car. They wore out quickly and got noisy when there was still a lot of tread left.

Michelin PS2's now on car. Better in EVERY way so far...

Last weekend I drove a few hundred miles and noticed the avons produce quite a bit of road noise.

i'd agree. PS2's are the best out there right now. if you don't want to spend that much the dunlop sp sport maxx's are excellent too.
