Evo Mag Porsche Cayenne Turbo VS RS 6

Check out the May issue of EVO magazine. They must have to kiss Porsche butt a certain number of times a year. They state that the Cayenne bloodied the RS 6's nose and that the Audi was laboring to keep up. I think not.
    Best wishes,

The Cayenne Turbo has more torque, so that may have well been the case as to why the Cayenne seems to be at ease when the RS6 was said to be pushing more, but then the Cayenne Turbo has more weight so it should be a close call on most instances. I didn't think EVO 'kiss Porsche's butt,' they simply said 'it's a 4x4 like no other' and not really a driver's car with that much weight.

With the Cayenne at a pudgy 4600lbs.

I find this tough to give much credence.

i'm a little with bull on this one. although it's true that the
cayenne is a "SUV like no other" i'm not buying that the RS6
was laboring to keep up. let's see, they both have EXACT h.p.
and the cayenne has a meesley 44 lb/ft torque. AND the torque
power comes on LATER and dies out EARLIER than on the RS6!

top that off with the fact that the cayenne out weights the RS6
by 1,078 lbs and in the end you come up with GIVE ME A BREAK!

no matter HOW much home work porsche did, there is NO WAY
that the cayenne would "give the RS 6 a bloody nose." think
about it. in ALL the tests that compare the RS 6 with the M5, the
journalists ALWAYS complain about how you can "feel" the extra
150 or 200 in the RS 6 compared to the M5 in the turns. but in this
article the over 1,000 lbs. of the porsche never seems to be a
problem. so yah bull, i think your right

I don't buy the evo magazine anymore because the tester always have to much subjective opinions.
