I like what I see... now that is something. G-Tronic, good for 2000 newtonmeters?

very strange to show this concept-car after showing other images of the Q7 V12TDI a half year ago.
and it will need at least another full year for the productin model...

G-Tronic from what i see is something to show G forces, not a new gearbox

Might not be a new gearbox, but with 2000 newtonmeters of torque it wouldn't be long before one would be needed.

Ben, I hope you have you're name down for one.
Search and you will find the truth.

Although, no one knows the answer to what gearbox can launch this beast, at least the interior is Audi stunning! I would get this just for the interior. Audi keeps raising the bar so much higher, just when everyone else is still making Audi-like interiors from 10 years ago.

    Wow...

Now I'm ever happier that I got the Denali over the Q7! Because that $16K I saved can go down as a deposit on THIS sucker!

But the million dollar question is: Will it ever come to the US and when (and yes, I fully realize that showing it in the US is a very good sign, but I was always taught to never count my chickens before they hatch ).

Ben, I promise I'll let you drive it when you're over here (not this year tho - just 3.0 would have to do) - for sure it will be at least two years before it gets to US (if at all.....)

It won't take 65 minutes with that diesel!

As for me, I'm not sure I'll be swinging that Beast, it may prove too rich for my blood. On my budget, I'd have no $$$ left to entertain guests like you when they visit.

I do that only or my friends, Ben - you do not count as ordinary "guest". In that case you'd be in Skoda

I'd say V12tdi would make approx. same time or very close on that trip as the beast - with no traffic problems rs would win..

    I'm honored...:asian:

I have "special" guests and a lot of "regular" guests I need to entertain. And no, the regular guests don't touch my cars...

    Don't see why not.

While they are sorting out the alleged cooling 'anomalies' they can adapt it with BlueTec.

America, surely, has got to have the biggest market potential for this car. Reasonable gas mileage, with monster shove.

Your country did create the adage "There ain't no substitute for cubic inches"

    Its made for you guys.
