The engine finally makes it inside an actual Q7.

I like what I see... now that is something. G-Tronic, good for 2000 newtonmeters?
very strange to show this concept-car after showing other images of the Q7 V12TDI a half year ago.
and it will need at least another full year for the productin model...
I lam itle bit suprised, this isn't Audis style...
But times are changing...
Anyway, for the first time Audi has product that is far in front of any concurention, V12 TDI.
BRAVO !
Nice.. bling-bling rims... BEAST !!!!
Might not be a new gearbox, but with 2000 newtonmeters of torque it wouldn't be long before one would be needed.
Ben, I hope you have you're name down for one.
Search and you will find the truth.
Although, no one knows the answer to what gearbox can launch this beast, at least the interior is Audi stunning! I would get this just for the interior. Audi keeps raising the bar so much higher, just when everyone else is still making Audi-like interiors from 10 years ago.

Wow...
Now I'm ever happier that I got the Denali over the Q7! Because that $16K I saved can go down as a deposit on THIS sucker!
But the million dollar question is: Will it ever come to the US and when (and yes, I fully realize that showing it in the US is a very good sign, but I was always taught to never count my chickens before they hatch ).

Ben, I promise I'll let you drive it when you're over here (not this year tho - just 3.0 would have to do) - for sure it will be at least two years before it gets to US (if at all.....)

I do that only or my friends, Ben - you do not count as ordinary "guest". In that case you'd be in Skoda
I'd say V12tdi would make approx. same time or very close on that trip as the beast - with no traffic problems rs would win..

NICE, if they send it here I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Don't see why not.
While they are sorting out the alleged cooling 'anomalies' they can adapt it with BlueTec.
America, surely, has got to have the biggest market potential for this car. Reasonable gas mileage, with monster shove.
