No 1 Season's greetings and R&T tests the Bugatti Veyron

With this I wish you a Happy Chrismas and a Happy New Year!

Who would have thought that a French car could do this?

    Erik,

Not only does a French car do those figures but at 95F! What would the results have been at about 50F, all I will add to this is what a car.

Amazing, no other word... as Leadfoot said, would like to see what happens at a lower temperature. That thing flies!

Would love to see the results of this thing after a ECU reflash to up the boost.

Rumour also has it the Veyron makes in excess of 1250hp based on several dyno runs.

Officially Bugatti say that the minimum the Veyron will produce is 1001ps, now that includes at altitude and in extreme temperatures, so your statement of the 1250hp on some dynos might just be true.

It may also explain why it needed to do without the engine cover because of the excessive heat produced by the engine.

You must do a full write up with pics! Congrats! You are one of the very, very few humans who will be able to say that! Top 0.00001%

    goku0815,

Most of us will count our selves lucky ever see a R8, even fewer will be especially lucky to drive one. And here's you telling us you will be getting a run in a Veyron, if I came back to life as Cindy Crawford's pantie I still wouldn't be as lucky as you.

Great news all the same. Remember to post video and pictures.
