My dealer confirmed today the following:

1. RS6 Arrival on July 2008, (Engine 5.0 TT)
2. TTR Arrival on July 2007
3. R8 Arrival on Sept. 2007 (Engine 4.2 NA)
4. A5 Arrival on Mar 2008 (Engine 3.2)
5. A4 Arrival on May 2008 (Engines 1.8, 2.0, 3.2)
6. R8 Arrival on Sep 2008 ( Engine 5.2)
7. S5 Arrival on sep 2008

This is interesting, no dealer in the UK would commit to a date on any of the above. The only news from them is the TTS and no the TTR (R=RS) will be late 2007. In Autocar they are quoting the A5's release date as March 2007 so they have plainly got it wrong.

So the RS6 will be a 5.0TT and the R8 will get a 5.2N/A, this goes against all the recent rumours of the R8 getting the new 5.0L from the revised Gallardo and the RS6 getting the S6 engine with two turbo added.

Maybe Qisha can enlighten us all with his wisdom.

i live in Europe and we europeans we will not wait another half of year or a full year to buy the new RS6, as we all know Audi si sending new models in US after a few months or a year so...so RS6 for europeans it will be released this year for us not in 2008 is too much to wait...so Audi is doing a great job releasing the car this summer as i heard!

i don't care about the avant, i don't like avant so much as saloon...saloon fit way better to my style of driving, and i only care to release the saloon that's all for me!

Though there is nothing to stop us making a poll of times for each and posting on it.

The other interesting things about buzz's original statement was that of the TT/R coming this July. There has been talk of the TT/S even in dealers for some time now and still no word in when it will finally be released, I have seen else where on this site that some German dealers have info on it's release and spec.

Can anyone here confirm if this is true?

What's wrong with the S5 in Saudi Arabia. It is coming in US (and rest of the world) in September of 2007.

My post is dated Oct 12, 2006. May be things have changed since then. I will check ‎with my dealer very soon. I can confirm that the first batch of R8's 4.2 in Saudi will ‎be delivered to customers in Sept. My name is on the list by the dealer, though I will ‎not be buying one till the V10 is out.‎
