latest info overheard at a bar in the middle of nowhere. there is a light blue mule in AZ and CA. and it has a V10. the V8 has been cleared for production........

Where to get all the techincal bits of this new R8

I will propably go to the Presentation of the R8 in Paris, beginning of October

stay tuned. we will have a great discussion in the R8 forum starting the day before the presentation. something may be leaked before then. the most important info will come from the press release which will be accessible in various places, particularly the microsite audi will put forth at the time of the presentation.

But still technical information on the R8 interest me a lot. - - And I used to drive a ABT tuned RS4 with 420 HP - I have now a A8 TDI4,2 tuned by ABT to 365 HP and 780 Nm - but this R8 might interest me, WHEN - with the "Gallardo engine" (Turbo), the V8 from the new RS4 simply du not have enough torque COMPARED to any turbo engine.

so PLEASE, give me ANY tech. on this R8
