Ahhh, fantastic! I don't have a manual trans in front of me yet, so didn't even consider that as a possible scenario!
Your quick reply is much appreciated so I'm not worrying about figuring this...
Moving forward, I have a question on the orientation of the flywheel and where I should have the "window" positioned for the crank position sensor. I have the lock pin installed, so the crank is...
Small updates tonight....Got the rear main seal/cover installed and pulled the tuned TCU that I won't need anymore for a fellow rs6.com member...:incar:

Nubcake is my hero for RS6 tuning...will be tapping his skills again shortly for the 6 speed conversion updates!
Sorry to hear about your experiences so far...I'd definitely stay on MTM until you get your $$$ back. As far as 034, I've only ever ordered parts online from them for various Audi's that I've owned,...
Alright now, finally getting back on the horse! And it looks like I found my Kryptonite...from most of the blogs, it seems that everyone has something that really is a pain that shouldn't be. For...
When I was looking at TCU upgrades about 2 years ago, I was under the impression that MTM no longer serviced the TCU here (US), but you could send your unit in to them and they'd ship it to Europe...
ben916, small world it is! My 6 speed conversion has been interrupted a few times while helping him with various projects from buying the "vintage" Tacoma to his first house...all good, I like to...
Bringing this back up....I'd like to get rolling on this...how's the GB looking? I've had enough hang ups with parts, so I'd prefer to have the radiator on deck when the time comes...
Oh man, looks like a monster in the making! :applause:
Thanks, yeah, been following yours on the Zine....nice progress! Sorry, but I don't have any input on turbos...Looking forward to seeing what you squeeze out of it once back together...by then,...
Nice...forgot about yours...it's getting quite a makeover compared to mine if I remember correctly. I'm waiting on some transmission parts for my 6 speed swap, but definitely past the "take it all...
We need to get together sometime soon...this COVID stuff sucks!
Amazing pair...and glad to know that there are still some OG lurkers here!
Bad enough that I have wires self disintegrating...I don't need any help from rodents!
Fortunately just a few connectors that I could resurrect and the SAI pump that I'm deleting....

Very nice! My wife and I had our honeymoon in Steamboat 30 years ago last month...I can only imagine how much my knees would hate me know if I tried to hit the slopes for those 30+ minute runs...
Alright, time to get back to work on the RS! My younger son and his fiancé were living with us and working from home for about 8 months, but were able to buy a house in November. I'm finally kid...
No worries right now...enjoy your car for a bit without any more $$$ out! Mine was working fine, but figured that it should have an overhaul and updated torque converter while the motor was out, but...
Welcome! I second NGP...top notch crew for sure. If mine wasn't on blocks in the garage right now with the motor out for a refresh and 6 speed swap, I'd say bring it over if you were willing to...
Congrats on getting it back! Believe me, with just what I've spent in parts alone even before my trans swap parts, I can only imagine what your "bail" payment was for the beast. Glad that you are...
Yeah, FCP isn't the place for RS6 stuff...I've found most of mine at ECS, Europa, and Jim Ellis Audi Atlanta. It does pay to shop around though...especially if looking for OEM Audi stuff and not...
Sounds about right....I'll probably have about $8-$9k in mine, but I started with turbo rebuilds and diverted to the 6 speed conversion. It also depends on what you plan to re-use...just the turbo...
If you feel that the car was worth doing the brakes and TB, then yes, I'd say that it's worth a 6 speed. Working on mine now, and really not that hard, but it does take some time and $$$. If you go...
Sorry, it lives in my garage now...part of my refresh and now 6 speed conversion...:incar:
