i am not sure if mine has ever been changed, but if it wasn't and it lasted for a bit more than 100k km then i am ok with just replacing the seal unless over the time the housing gets damaged somehow...

this was supposed to my next thing on my to do list for the car, meanwhile the jet suction pump decided to crack so it's still on my next to do list :)
