CEL, don't ignore it. Might be small issues or a precursor to major issues. Car sounds like a great one otherwise! Use this, it's the standard. http://www.ross-tech.com/

Then you should add your vin :hihi:
Yes, I think one of our members keeps an eye on it. One of the main reasons for tracking was the original Torque Converter issue/failure from the factory that...
Welcome! Low miles, low VIN, keep an eye on or replace the Torque Converter before it fails and takes the transmission with it.
Car is pristine, pics?
Welcome! Post up a thread with details and pics when you can.
Those miles are nice! But should be ready for a torque converter and/or trans failure with that lower VIN...
Gorgeous, almost as nice as mine:) Well done with the member name...could easily be publik skooled, ha!
Welcome! Sounds like a solid running example. If you feel the Revo tune is lean, and can log data with Ross-Tech VCDS, I can help with extra software.
VIN correlates to torque converter failure on most cars below xx5600...really main point of this info. Dave will be sending me the list soon:)
Thanks. What mileage did your TC/trans have replacement?
^^^As stated, nice pickup! And do log data when you can to make sure that GIAC tune isn't running lean, can cause major problems. www.ross-tech.com Categories 3, 31 , 112, 115 are good to know.
Sweet! Start a new thread with pics and info, sounds nice and all fixed up.
Sounds great, it's getting tougher to find good condition examples. Have fun! Keep an eye on the stock pads, sensor pins can gouge rotors, plus they are super dusty.
David???? I too would like this list...
Nice find! With that later VIN your torque converter should hold for a while. Mind telling us the price?
1,000% agree, sure looks like it to me. It's not even that low on miles, sure 45k is nice and all, but a ton a crap will still need to be fixed in the next 5 years.
Ha, my guess is they don't want to sell. Missing SE exhaust, no mention of work done, just a few pictures, riding high on DRC rear...if it was immaculate maybe $28k....
Nice, welcome! Post up a thread with pics and details when you're up and running. If you've got VAGCOM running on a laptop I can send you the Unitronic tuning interface if needed. I'd be interested...
I think you can find generic glass for $40. There's a thread on rs246 about replacing, front page right now. Find a good independent mechanic, but they can still be spendy.
You may have a Canadien car. Also, the glass just pops out, supposed to be easy /cheap. 860 to US in 2003 and 90 to Canada in 2004. There is NO difference between teh 2003 and 2004 models except for...
Welcome! Post up a new thread and pictures when you get a chance. Also update location by your name if you can. Lets see what you got there!
Nice price! If very clean could easily be low 20's. Never timed, the turbos are basically new but more oil flow for cooling. The aggressive tune and WM helps greatly. I'm afraid of breaking another...
Very nice, welcome. You should start a new thread with pics. Mind telling the price? Cheers!
DHall1 is the record keeper, he'll chime in sometime with car info if he knows.
Sounds about right for repairs and updates, should be in tip top shape!
Previous owner may have updated the tune,...
Nice, welcome! As long as you don't hammer on the trans they can last a while, and your VIN puts you right at the early stages of when Audi started to fix/upgrade the Torque Converter right out of...
Just wanted to look it over online. I'm assuming you know the potential repairs could be $10-10,000? If you wrench or have a good independent tech it helps greatly to reduce costs.
