Haven’t been around in a long time, not sure if any of the current members remember me. Still have the same love for the RS6. Still have my C5, here is my new C8. Hope everyone is doing well :)

I don't want to discuss the process too much. I'm not a vendor here and only trying to show the results with my fellow RS6ers.. I want to respect the forum. Hope that's ok
Yeah I'm hoping one of the mods will see this and adjust the thread to "Nardo Grey". Spell check got the best of me there..
Fixed it. :-) / Ruergard
I like it.

I'll get a pic today, sprayed it last night. Very happy I went with that color. New school meets old school.
You should have way more than 3 layers when you dip something. 8 would be minimum for long term durability.
Spraying today I think. Should be interesting..
Looks stunning, problem with red though is I wanted to do something not originally offered on the C5 RS6 from the factory. There is a red option I believe.
I may do something in between Suzuka and Nardo Grey.
That's really nice. What about Nardo Grey?
Need to decide on color, and then decide if we should go matte or gloss. The RS6 does pull off matte colors nicely.

Just did my SQ5 in a nice yellow

Going to be spraying the RS6 in a new color in a week or so, was wondering if you guys had any input on what you'd like to see. Leaning towards something that wasn't offered from the factory...

thread over.
Excuse the ignorance, but I've been getting so many conflicting stories I'm coming to the group to iron this out. Is it possible to buy a new C7 RS6 and import it to the US? In a perfect world with...
Are you talking about DipCoat or Plasti Dip? Two completely different things
Thanks very much dude!
DipCoat overspray is harmless, it actually protects every surface you just mentioned.
Me too. Sirius hasn't been the most cooperative group during this troubleshooting process.
I did exactly that, and it gave me a serial #. Sirius claiming that's not the "radio ID" number that they are looking for.
It's not the original unit, I purchased it from eBay in 2008. Fits and works just fine, but the only piece missing is Sirius activation.
I did take a look at the sticker on the unit and read off...
I installed a RNS-E unit years ago (purchased off eBay) before I had an XM/Sirius account. At this time, I'm trying to activate the unit with Sirius. When I go to XM > Setup > Radio ID, it's just...
I like it. It's the fastest and best handling car that I've ever owned.
Still doesn't have the raw personality of the RS6 though..
This is what you need.

I don't want to speak too much on the product, as I'm not an official vendor here and I want to respect the forum.
