That could be true but it would still be low on torque when compared to other 300 hp+ V6 with displacement of 3.5 liters. But we will see what happens. Audi's 7 speed DSG can lessen the power defecit...
I am not so confident about Audi Valvelift anymore. The one on the V6 engine (2.8 and 3.2) doesn't appear as advanced as variable systems that the competition has or the one on the one on the Roadjet...
I think the 4.2 V8 on the S5 does have Valvelift, it just doesn't have that much hp benefit. Also there is nothing about S-Tronic (DSG) in the press release.
