Thank you! Yep, I am heading to the airport in an hour and pick it up in the morning.
I drove a 2015 Mustang GT while I was in HI and it was great, but it was never quite right.

Hey board. Long time no posts. I have been pretty absent since moving to Hawaii. Back in the states again so hopefully there will be more time in the future.
All of my files have been moved to...
Jibberjive is right. There has been a deposit placed. Working on the details and logistics. I bought a Kia Optima EX Hybrid. The exact opposite, but so stinking nice. I'm sure that I'll do another...
Thanks for the reposts and interest guys. I wish I didn't have to do this, but sea duty is coming up quickly and possibly a move. I just need something that gets me a-b with a warranty for a few...
Thank you for the repost.
And by that analogy Steve made the clothes.
I can't speak for others, but I am just tapped out after this much time and investment. It's a great and fun car that will bring someone else tons of joy. I did the laundry. They can do the...

You have seen the build thread. If not, it is here:

Current list of major cons. There are minor ones too, but that...
I don't know how you get away with this. I GUARANTEE you that if Andy lived with me she would have put the kaybash on this a long time ago.
I took some videos, but I'm finding it hard to get the microphone to easily hear it. To the plain ear it is very obvious. Don't pay attention to my squeaky belt bearing or gauge warnings, they go...
My research leads me to believe I have a sticking bendix assembly.
This is obviously not my car, but it what it sounds like.

I have been continuing to write on this post to keep my car project continuity. At what point should I just start a new thread?
News update. I replaced the vacuum device after a month of getting my backyard project on track. No sooner than that I sprung a power steering leak that cost me another 3 hours to sort out.
The next...
This car is full of surprises. Do you happen to have the part number?
I'm confused about the after run coolant pump. Why is that being mentioned during this job? Isn't it located on the driver side frame rail nowhere near the intake manifold?
DMB. There is definitely a large suction sound from under the intake manifold and it revs if a mist of starting fluid is placed down there. Looks like she'll be getting torn down after I finish my...
Goodness gracious. Well. These seem to be exactly the problems. I'm going to get the parts on order now to hopefully get to it this weekend or the following. I'm hoping to be well under 10% of $1700...
The saga continues. The transmission, clutch, and turbos are all off of my list of things that require repair. She has another 400 miles on her since finding the turbo was not actually leaking.
I...
It's the full face. I still find mine to be very chattery at low RPM especially when warm. That material really grabs.
I would do it again. Even if the Auto shifted faster I would still do it again. It feels so good to shift and hear the popping of the exhaust note in between. Or releasing the throttle in a lower...
My spec 3+ definitely holds the power. Not the most fun to drive in traffic. Especially once it's warmed up.
Sidenote - I drove a Ford Focus ST last night. I couldn't believe how heavy the clutch...
Awesome work. Very cool to have it paid off and back together for so little money. Congratulations.
1000 posts in 7 years. That is 142 per year or .39 per day. Honestly, I'd say you're not really pulling your weight around here. :-)
That doesn't seem super outrageous. I am past 28,000 with the purchase of the car included and still not done. But that was with lot of upgraded parts too. I wish I had done the TDI tranny while I...
Turbos are no longer suspect. Leak was residual oil from the return line gasket that failed. Raudi 6 is back on the road. The car is still for sale to the right buyer.
