Of course I am! But do you know what is pictured? Only the REAL old timers here will get it.
Indeed, time flies, just came across this buried in a desk the other day.

Nah, evidently, I was just quicker.
I routinely went into full limp mode about ~15 minutes into a run session (midwest road circuits) in my bone stock RS 6, and, no, nothing was wrong with the car.
2nd for Al at CPT, he's the only mechanic I'll let touch any of my cars and he is very familiar with the RS 6.
Cool, one of the reasons I run 1UP racks is that they are angled up and out:

Watch that those exhaust tips aren't too close.

(Nice zombie thread.)
Cool, wonder if JP4 still owns his, he tracked his RS 6 even more than I did.
As an original owner myself who bailed ~8 months ago, I do wonder who's left...?
I don't know, on some days, I think I would've preferred a leaking tank in hopes the RS 6 would catch on fire over hearing that damn error every few minutes on a long commute home ;)
Yeah, I hear ya, I had that same type of experience with an intermitten headlight leveler error in the RS 6. We would sporadically get the extremely loud annoying beeping error multiple times in a...
You know I don't know these things. And why can't Euro marques make a feakin' gas tank, went through a few replacements with my C5 RS 6 and never even did the recall before I ditched it.
For the next RS 6, so I went AMG E63S; curious, was the E63S Touring on your radar at all?

I fondly remember the days of tracking my RS 6 build on that private RS 6 microsite, lots to be excited about.
S-Line has AWD standard in US and other performance bits like limited-slip differential.
UK doesn't even get the AWD E63 variant and the E63 they did test wasn't even an S Line.
STaSIS is now defunk, guess that comes from building crap and not standing behind your product.
I had clunking with my STaSIS suspension that they could never solve, S4 guys had similar problems. My solution was to throw the STaSIS shit in the dumpster (literally, because I refused to sell...
I wouldn't even want to look at the RS 7's front tires after that test, but I would want to see a figure 8 test with 6 consecutive laps, I think it would be very turn 2 at Gingerman like.
You never pay attention, but, admittedly, the difference is subtle. Empirically, I have ONLY said timed laps on a road circuits is the metric I think gives the most objective view of a cars...
DRwtfC, yeah, how many cars have you owned with that system again; and, had to live with it? I'm sure it will control some of the body roll, at the expense of losing ones fillings, of course?
I...
That was actually painful to watch, just wanted to put the RS 7 out of its misery.
waiting for the Winnebago vs. GT-R comparo (where I'm sure the GT-R will get dinged for sleeping capacity).
historically, I don't think Pobst is prone to prevarication and you really can't explain away the data (at least rationally):
