It would be the temp sending unit. The thermostat is just a mechanical valve that opens when engine comes up to operating temperature.
I like those wheels, been looking for a spare set. Are there concerns with running 20mm spacers, seems like a lot.
Longer lug bolts needed I'm sure.
PM'd you.
Considering a tune, currently stock. The best premium pump gas around here is 90 octane, although we do have good air temps. to compensate (normally 60s or cooler). Do you need to run higher octane...
Had a bad wheel bearing on mine (dvr side), definately had the growl noise, noticeably louder on a sweeping right turn at highway speed. Tires are fairly new. Warranty covered it at my local Indy...
Congratulations. I'm a fairly new owner myself and absolutely love mine. Great community and technical info on this site as well.
Welcome and enjoy!
Sent you a PM on the wheels.

I received my RS6 on Monday - very happy. One word, AWESOME. Incredibly fun to drive. I wish I had a longer commute to work...... I find myself making excuses...
If no one replies with info, I'll document how mine goes and share what I learn for you and others. I'm excited about getting this done.
I am starting the mod to install the BlueStar/costar module to in place of the defunct On-star system. I know a few others have previously done this (UrS6, Dynmicracr).
As part of the mod I need...
Anyone in wet/snowy climates done this mod? I live in Alaska and I'm concerned about snow/winter muck getting in there/on the belts, etc. Lots of winter road grime up here. I'd really like some...
Yeah I saw you had the Viper in another thread - I did a little internet digging on Viper, I like the ability of an iphone app. However, I found there were a lot of scary stories of poor...
