I've been planning to do a build thread, once it's really ready.
But the progress is super slow.

In fact, I'm running a very similar setup in my RS6. Only a bit bigger turbo. ;)

This design decision was deliberate, I think.
No easy answer.
Mild steel is significantly cheaper, easier to weld, has better resistance against "temperature-induced" cracking due to lower expansion, but can rot.

Your planned turbo is air cooled, no water.
So you'll have to delete aux pump & afterrun system.
It's sole purpose is to cool the turbos after shut-off to prevent oil coking.

Didn't notice many questions, rather just statements of what you'll be using. :)
No experience with the clutch, so no comments there.
1000cc injectors are overkill for pump, but will work fine....
If you want the thing to be remotely reliable - do yourself a favor and pick up a set of S6/S8/A8 NA exhast manifolds and just elbow off of that. Custom made tubular stuff tends to crack really...
