So, indy says windshield washer pump not working and climate control "orifice" is blocked. A few dollars in parts, but $500 in labor to replace!
...
Yeah, interesting. But, I have no idea what I just watched!
I haven't yet run VAG.

All,
Any thoughts on this are welcome.
Recently had the RS6 in for a LOT of work. Got the car back and parked it due to my travel schedule. Just returned home and am starting to run the car a...
Interesting. i will follow this up.
Thanks,

Car was transported to Indy. While I haven't seen any photos, yet, they've diagnosed it as a, "...steel braided line rubbing against an aluminum tube." To repair, they must put the car into service...
Possibly, for sure. I had wanted to do the Venairs years ago, but couldn't find them at a reasonable price, and, then, I bought the Wagner Intercooler kit (which includes them) and have been waiting...
Thanks.
Part is ordered and on the way.
While the car is now 20 years old, I'm at only 80K. So, timed out, I suppose! Which is why I'll likely move to the new RS6 Avant after fixing this. ...
Thank you. Very helpful. I'm not aware that it has been done. I certainly never specified that it was to be done at any point, but if it's a part of a service kit, possibly it was, and I wouldn't...
Looked around online, but I thought I'd throw this up for our learned community.
Noticed a leak the other day in the garage. Didn't think anything of it, because I have a leak from the ceiling. ...

Sorry to hear. If you decide to part it out, though, I'm looking for a set of the KW v3s. LMK. Thanks. I'd take the sways, too. And, possibly the bluetooth.
You could throw it up on BaT,...
All,
Strange new issue. Did a search but didn't see anything on point.
Haven't cranked up the RS6 since it went in for the engine temperature sensor replacement, but did today. Cooler out...
All,
I'm being told by my indy that to replace the valve cover gaskets, the "engine has to be dropped", because, "it's a V8." I simply can't believe that. WTF? Am I going crazy?
CW
Can you maybe give an updated parts list at this time? That might be helpful.
Looking, possibly, for a set of wheels to mount snow tires on. Do you have anything?
Thanks,
CW
^^^ Truth!
CW
Thanks for the link! I had been to their site on my phone but missed those somehow.
Decent price, too. At that price, I should probably get a set for the Sportec wheels on the car, too!
The...
So, I've FINALLY been able to collect some of my spare parts from storage. Unfortunately, a fair bit of them are missing. Maybe they'll turn up, but I doubt it and probably have to replace some. ...
Air intake looks like Dahlback (without the carbon fibre cover).
CW
Yup. $98 apiece! Crazy.

I found these parts numbers through my Indy. Available at ECS. Not 100% sure this is what I'm looking for, but...
4B3941191 and 4B3941192

Yes, the rubber around the outside edges.
CW
Anyone know them? And a source?
I need both driver and passenger sides.
TIA!

Welcome, and enjoy.
