Can you tell me please what kind of clearance your wheels / tyres give your struts as I am wondering whether this is the widest wheel / tyre combination that can be used with the RS6 Avant.

Hi Ian, as Audi UK have only just agreed to supply me with S6 shocks as a goodwill gesture I am seriously considering replacing the rubbish DRC with these S6 shocks and the standard RS6 springs can...

Thanks all for a very informative thread, I am currently at war with Audi UK as they claim the DRC issue is not safety related.......LOL....... My car has only done 24,000 miles and had a replacement...

Mine is a standard Avant apart from faulty DRC it did 12.945 @107.14mph with a 2.027 60' time so I would expect with another 100bhp you should be able to take about a second of that time with a trap...

In fact I am so pissed off with Audi right now...It just so happens that the two worst handling cars I currently own and have probably ever owned are both the newest and they both happen to be 4 year...

It looks like Audi USA have finally decided to repair DRC on RS6 even outside warranty once they were threatened with legal proceedings since I see RS6's hopping about with DRC issues all the time...

Yes I have serious DRC issues too, at 21000miles 2004 the car bounces all over the place, skips at least 6 inches off line when you hit a small bump mid corner, and in one very high speed lane change...
