yes of course, but 4whdrive cars should have a huge adventage from a dig and on the 1/4 due to its traction so i thought it would be a clear game for the rs and amg. But it looks like the m is...
but that m6 GC strikes me. rear while drive and fastest up to 130mph plus quickest drap speed on quarter mile 124mph
still like the rs6 more than the rs7.
This acceleration times are a bit of a disapointement,
specialy the 42 secs 0-300 kmh, witch are behind of the competition e63 pp or m5 f10. Well lets see some more results
Well if us costumers could afford euro prices in general, maybee Audi would think about it.
But imagine a rs6 with 170 tausend usd... ( well i imagine the car would hardly be sold in the us)
maybe...
Found this Video on the net

looks like this 4.4 Liter V8 (m5/m6) are really strong in stock trim, hope that is a good thing for the upcoming Audi V8 rs6.
didnt...
quik compairo to m5 f10 engine datas:
m5 560hp from 5750-7000 rpm, rs6 560hp from 5700-6700
m5 680 nm from 1500-5750 rpm, rs6 700nm from 1750-5500
it looks like the 4,4 liter f10 egine has...
R8 V10 46 sec up to 300 km/h according to AMS Test
No high speed key (owner forgot it at Home) therefor no lowering of the car and no retracted brake flap so additional drag therefor 2 sec Minimum slower As usual
guess you were wrong on this one specialy on the sport auto comparison on track, the m3 is faster
m3 is as well faster on stright line.....
we love audi but bmw is not that bad
rs6r was faster on track by 1 sec than g power m5.
m5 had badly traction problems every where.
but as mentionend above g power m5 is in an other legue what strigtline acceleration means
to mention:
pdk is made for 800 nm max, techart is running 820 nm (sport auto doubted how long it will work..)
and specialy to renforce the pdk there a problems.
So if really fast turbo go...
dont see the point why comparing a 800 hp engine to a 620 hp engine,
either take it stock vers stock, (gt2 miles a head 0-300kmh in 33 secs, gtr 0-300kmh in 52 secs)
or take the gt2 9ff 800 hp...
what was the limit off the 997.1 turbo or gt2 engine
any infos about that...
know about tunnings, to 800ps but with hardware mods...
well 17,5 secs up to 200 kmh, dont call that a masterpiece.
Once again he didnt reach official times quoted by audi.
So did rs4, r8 v8 and r8v10... in sport auto supertest...
Contrairly...
any test to prove...
just seen one form sport auto
gt2 make it in standart between 33-35
give the turbo2 pdk/manuel a best of 39, still 6 secs...
and the gt2 has a longer 6th gear than...
gt2 standart 530 hp with 1500kg
911 turbo pkd tuned 550 hp with 1620 kg
dont think 550 hp ar enought to get the gt2 up t0 300kmh
standart 911 pdk up to 300 kmh 41 sec
standart 911 gt2 up...
gt2 is still in an other level above 200kmh
thanks for the numbers
fair enough
does any one knows the speed reachted by both cars at 1000m. Would be interesting
gt2 0-1000 in 20.29
turbo 2 0-1000 in 20,37
we know that the turbo 2 pdk profits from his gearing over the gt2 specialy till about 200kmh.
But after 200kmh gt2 should be significantly...
What a helpfull post...
maybee there was no need for porsche to do the ring time better than gtr, let it do the old and new porsche gt2.
It is all about priority.
Lets see witch car is the fastest about 5 ring...
but other specifcation written on the articel
Very interesting that the GTR had sport tyres on.
the even mentiond that, that the gtr with sport tyres is slower than the 911 on the normal potenzas.
stock to stock 911 is destroying the other cars acceleration wise...
And that is what 99% of the buyers do, acceleration on the highways..
Dont wanna know what the new 911 gt2 does to the...
@kju prob not possible new turbo 0-200kmh in 10,8 secs....
