you meant to say RS4 B7
It's all down to personal preferances: what would you prefer - RS5 with high rev V8 450 hp or RS5 with lets say 2.5 inline 5 turbo with 450 hp also? I would go for the first choice, although the TTRS...
That's the point everybody misses: it's not only about the power, is the entire package (looks, sound, chassi, brakes etc0 that counts, thats why an S5 with 400-500 hp will never really compare to an...
From a very trusted friend in Audi Quattro Gmbh, nobody knows for sure now, it all depends on the market evolution after this crissis, but what they do know is because there will be an RS5 (coupe)...
I've seen that for the TT RS, 0-200km/h is arround 15 sec or so, way quicker than the 16.6 sec RS4 needs. So I'm pretty sure it's quicker to 300 also, which is also very normal: 300 or so kg lighter,...
I thought you were comparing A6 3.0 TFSI with the old S4 V8.
You can be sure to expect an RS5 Sportback coming, at least that is what I heard when at Quattro for servicing my car.
You wanted to say that the 340 HP 3.0 supercharged engine in the new S4 is quicker than the old V8 , because the de-tuned 296 hp 3.0 TFSI in the A6 is no match for the old S4 engine, but maybe in the...
Besides the great new 2.5 inline turbo from TTRS, I can't remember anything new in the engine departament from Audi..maybe the much anticipated 4.0 TT V8 , but it's not out yet and who knows...
Until now at least, I am very sorry but BMW is way ahead in the "downsize turbo" departament: X5/6 M with 4.4 turbo, 3.0 bi-turbo diesel and petrol, 123 d with 2.0 bi-turbo diesel, next M3 with 3.0...
It's not only that they need the 2.0 TDI bi-turbo. Audi is a little behind with other engines also, the most important that comes to mind is the ancient 3.0 TDI with the same boring 240 hp. If you...
So what, I bet everyone of those 2.0 tfsi tuned drivers will kill to own an R8. Is just no way to compare them...

You might be wright about the ABS messing up, although I think it can be adjusted electronicaly. Too bad I don't know if I can find I shop arround me that can corectly modify the RS6 brackets, I...
I have the ceramics 380 mm for the front, and I want to upgrade the back. I don't know if the R8'S ceramic back brake system fits, and it is pretty expensive anyway, but your way with the RS6 rotors...
What do you mean exactly when you say "modified RS6 caliper mounting bracket " ??
Did the brackets just bolted on or you needed to drill new mounting holes into them?
And, did you fell any...
I have them, great brakes, 18 k miles, not even the smallest sign on them, half of the brake pads life left on them, one of the best brake combo on the market (with the 6 piston calipers - GT2 like -...
Yes, you might get close with a supercharged 3.0 S5, but it will never sound, look or feel like the RS5. Not to say brakes and everything. You just cannot compare the 2
On the last Car magazine, that I've read last evening, they said the RS5 is coming at Frankfurt Motorshow with...a bi-turbo V8 450 hp with only 7 speed DSG gearbox. I guess nobody knows in the end...
No, the RS4 is not mine and unfortunatelly I don't know if it's delimited or not, but it sure looks like it is.
That short clip was filmed in Romania, the EVO had full exhaust and ECU mods, something arround 350+ hp if I'm not mistaken.
RacerBice, you thought wrong, at least in my country you did. The new Impreza WRX is cheaper here than the Audi S3 with a few options, so the RS3 would be sky high expensive compared to it
The S3 is already the most expensive hothatch arround, where will they place the RS3 pricewise? Near the M3?
My thoughts exactly regarding the RS6, excellent car, just bad timing. At this point with the economy, whatever engine would they have put into the RS6, the sells numbers would have been the same....
maybe it won't be renamed B9 , it doesn't matter. But my guess is the RS4 will come after the facelift. Of course, in this present economical situation, all bets are off and only Audi's marketing...
I am sure there wouldn't be a B8 RS4, as there was no B6 RS4. They have enough RS cars on the road this year: RS6, TTRS and probably the RS5. Not to mention the R8's. Too much to work for Quattro...
