Too many RS's? And luke warm response to the RS5?
Only in the USA... Carbon cleaning under warranty.

Agreed, that would be revealing.
Also the same car at the same place after 10k kms.
It's a bit like the BMW M6, really not that good looking and so it needs the right colour to help it look good.
In the UK, DRC is covered for up to 75k miles or 5 years provided the car has been serviced by Audi. However, the servicing by Audi rule is not too strict. Hope this further information helps you.
+1. Great pics but do keep wondering if some other colour would it off better.
Looks like a new engine, how much did it cost?
Any help on this please.
although the BMW will drive well, the Porsche has got to be the obvious choice.
That looks bad. Was the power/fuel consumption affected?
But what next?
Cheers. I read that some 30k cars were built, can that be right? With 17k cars in Germany.
Does anyone here know how many B7 RS4's built altogether, and how many of them were Avants, Cabrio & Saloons.

For the US market? Strange, but they made the latest M5 with a manual gearbox but only for the US. Is a RS5 Sportback likely to appear after the initial sales flurry?
Absolutely :0:
More dullish looking red cars in front of an emotive banner?:hihi:
The RS5 will soon be with us.
It is known that the RS5 is faster on the Ring with standard Sport suspension then with optional DRC (standard in some markets).
And not because it saves about 8kgs...
Great idea.
Is there a facility for the engine to be bench tested, and then dyno tested to get a better appreciation of exact transmission losses.
& BMW's ?
The cylinder head for the RS5 is different (Gallardo one as mentioned), Qisha mentioned a while ago that the carbon problem will not affect the RS5. So if this RS does not make the power, then will...
It would be good if someone from Audi confirms that, for some journos think it is the old RS4 engine with tweaks. I would prefer R8's 5.2 version.

Audi's 450bhp, 4wd RS5 coupe should be an M3 beater. But is it? Chris Harris reports

We keep hearing the RS5 goes round the Nordschleife 10 seconds faster than the B7 RS4 i.e. in 7:59. Clearly that is with Ceramics ( & all the sports options & I assume normal rubber). Anyone car to...
