Minor niggle coming from the RS. I'm getting a clicking noise from behind the dash board, occurs every couple of minutes. Just one click and then stops until then next click about 2mins...

Is that paint or just a matt black sticker-wrap for the car?

I know of one guy who has done the matt-black wrap on his 996 GT3 and also Brabus did the same on the Bullit.

Hmmm, would be quicker than that. The B7 RS4 got a 1:25.2 IIRC, so the C6 RS6 should be good for a 1:27 ish I should think. The hefty weight of the car being an obvious disadvantage...

Is this one that has been on Pistonheads? IIRC for about £14-15K? Has B7 RS4 buckets as well. I don't think it's amazing value, but not too bad. The pictures of the car aren't great tbh and i'd ask...

The next 911 is the 997 mkII that should be out in the summer. The totally new 911 (codenamed 991 not 998) out in circa 2011 will still be rear-engined. After this, who knows...
