Hawk HPS... Best pads for daily driving, no noise, no dust, end of story.
I don't know why you'd want any more "grab" for a street pad on a 4000lb cruiser.

I was. The brand new ECU fixed it. 500 miles and no limping. Believe it or not, the ECU was still under the 8 year factory warranty for emissions controls -- my car was sold in April '04,...
Too much torque I presume. It just failed all at once after a hard launch.
Back to the stock tune for awhile... the ECU I bought from another member here was bad after I had it coded, so got a...
My car was doing the same shit. Just replaced the ECU with a factory fresh one. Will let you know if that cures it.
My dog knows I'm coming home from like three blocks away... SE exhaust sounds like a hooptie with a 1000 watt subwoofer coming down the street.
If you ever have a chance to tail your car with...
Are those stock springs, iswing?
I echo all the sentiments here. Thank you for everything, Josh... watch your ass over there!

Well, I hate it too. I need a beer to get rid of the taste of the mouthbarf that happened at 1:07...
The LEDs are like pubes sprinkled on a shit sandwich.
Cupra lip is a 20 minute job... use stainless steel self-tapping screws and don't f-up your bumper.
Here's a set of those wheels on eBay right now...

Anybody got an update on 193 models in C5 A6?
Have you logged requested vs. actual boost? Is it possible your car is overboosting due to physical wastegate problems? Have you checked vacuum lines to the wastegates? Have you replaced your N75...
Check the tabs on you radiator support if you can, they are brittle and will snap off even in a low speed impact, then rad support can sag and cause problems, as there is a bunch of plumbing that...
Personally, I love it, and clearly you are a wrench to be reckoned with.
Hilarious to see an RS 6 idling like a pro-stocker, and good on you man, you saved those beautiful lines from oblivion... ...
Just stumbled across this, and his build is nearing completion... jealous of this guy's time and skills if nothing else...

OEM, brand new. Lasted less than a year... Still can't figure how Audi NA avoided a recall on these transmissions, especially in these cars.
I am going back to the stock tune for a while after my second transmission failure last week.
6-speed conversion with updated 01E is likely in the future.
Putting the gear selector in "S" is not going to make the car faster. It just holds gears longer on downshifts. That was either your imagination or coincidence that the car was happier at that...
It's amazing (and frankly disappointing) what a few nights out and the requisite four-figure dinner/drinks tab being picked up can do to bias otherwise "unbiased" journalists... Only saying it 'cause...
Who knows, the wire brush could have left steel fragments that caused a galvanic condition?
What hahn said, I coat surfaces with a thin layer of synthetic grease when I mount my wheels... Started...
Right, not the wheel, the hat. Still saying galvanic corrosion, can be accelerated by contaminants (salts and whatnot.)
Can't imagine any other way this could happen when everything is bolted...
Galvanic corrosion, happens sometimes when dissimilar metals are in contact... it's why you don't plumb copper pipes to iron.
A nice coat of grease on each surface would likely have stopped it....
What horseshit. I would take it off and put it right back on or get the waiver from a friendly eye doc.
I never park on the street in the CHI if at all possible... Last time I did somebody stole my...

Did new OEM rotors and Hawk HPS pads, as per the late great V8Weight's advice and couldn't be happier. No dust, no squeal, no grooves, no pulse, no problem.
Probably getting one next fall... but will keep the RS.
