Make sure you apply a liberal amount of anti-seeze on the bolt upon re-assembly to prevent this in the future.
NO, this isn't how this works... you just can't sell it..
I'll Take them..
Congrats, That Good Wood Green Avant is beautiful.. It was on my list of serious wants.. I have no real helpful comments to make on this thread..
We do and yes this Covid thing sucks...
I can also say that NGP is top notch and one of the best Audi service locations around. I am in the NOVA area and always willing to meet up and talk about cars..
OK, I have a friend that can do the work also.. He has access to OEM alcantara and a perfect match for the perforated leather.
Nice, who is doing the work? Is this something you are doing yourself?
Curious as to what you are having done?
On my RS6 the "nub" is ground flush with the control arm.
This might be out there already, but would you want to create a list for everything you replaced in this procedure? Part numbers, what failed, what was preventative, this would be great information...
I was going to point you to the post on FB from George but I see you have found it..
Did you get the car back Scott?
We will post pics and impressions once we have completed the install tomorrow, hopefully have time to get some pics of the two cars together also..
Glad to see it lives on..

I can bring the car by one day in the next few weeks for you to drive and see how you like the KW V3 + Hotchkis setup. I will be down in the Chesapeake area so it wont be out of the way by to much..
Absolutely beautiful RS6, kudos for keeping her so well maintained over the years.
Spend the extra money for the V3 and then add Hotchkis sway bars...
That looks good, I have a stock wheel being wrapped in Alcantara and should be ready soon..
He said he has one more set that is nearly perfect, a small chip in the corner of the dash piece.. The other set he has is cracked so not really an option.
I just picked up a set of mint C5 RS6 carbon fiber trim, I will ask if he has any more sets available..
Nope, I bought the last one he had.. not enough interest in reproducing them either...
