What is it with mechanics?
Friend of mine had a guy build a clone Shelby Mustang for him. He received it, wasn't overly happy with it, and sent it back for changes. The changes took YEARS. And,...
Nub,
When I'm back from travels, I'll be in touch. I still want to do the tune. I have all the cables you told me to procure.
Sorry it's taken so long!

Everything is working without issue at this point. So, I think you have a good plan!

We are in touch. This set is already sold. But, we're working on another.
Thanks,
CW
I'm still in, FYI.

Thanks, Muggy. I will follow up with seller later this week, if I haven't heard anything back. The headlamp assembly was repaired, but not replaced. It's also throwing a code, so I just want to...

Well, challenges, as usual.
Dents in front fender could not be removed. Aluminum panel cracked. Can't find a new one, so they have a "bonding kit" that they use for rooflines that they are going...
RT Front Fender and Front Bumper Cover still available?
Thanks!

Thanks, guys.
Good to know about the smaller projector, Nub. Same part number, though?
Hope not, Mug, but we are all too well-experienced to know how these things go. It started with me...
Thanks, guys. At this point, the car is scheduled to go in on Monday. We'll see. The shop says they order parts based on the VIN, but I'm not confident, so I spent some time emailing them. Again,...
Thank you. Double confirmed, now.
And, the difference is the "L" code is for the headlight WITHOUT Xenon.

I am told, after inquiry with my Indy, who's parts manager contacted an Audi dealer directly and used the VIN, that the "K" part is the correct one.
However, I have still not received an...
All,
I've received two estimates for repairs. VERY far apart, so I wanted to check on something.
The front passenger headlight assembly was damaged and needs replacement.
One estimate calls...

Good luck. At $25 each, not impossible. The video helps to make this an easy DIY project, too, as opposed to a trip to the shop. At least for the "A" and "C" servos.

Indy obtained one (new) from their parts supplier. ~$200. Indy stated that one of the others I needed was NLA through their part suppliers. The other, new, was almost $500, IIRC.
So, I obtained...
Well, yesterday was a LONG day for the tech. We believe the problem is now fixed. Fingers crossed, as some warm weather is due in the next week. So, I'll confirm that. BUT, here's the report...

Thank you. I did find the spring kit on ebay but haven't purchased, yet.
I will this week.

Helpful. Thank you. In order to save time at the shop, I went ahead and changed the "A" and "C" myself. Easy. Shop is doing the difficult-to-reach one as I write this. Hopefully, problem will be...
Traveling for a couple of weeks, so RS6 doesn't go in, again, until 8/4. Will post after servo replacement.
