Immobilizer defeat or match using an ECU from another car: Whats the process?
I have some knowledge of this but still learning. Those who have installed an RS6 ECU from another car in yours (with tune), what is step to disable immobilizer or match? I'll keep reading up when I have more time later today. I have an extra ECU I sent to J-Fonz to see how that tune feels. Installed in RS this morning and immob is preventing the car from running.
I have true vagcom cable and both of the usual blue cables from ebay. Any thoughts of initial guidance appreciated.
