Decided to “upgrade” intakes, looks good IMO and BOVs are audible now.

91 octane APR file with full weight, crap tires, crap DA. Trap is a little low do to slightly smaller diameter tires than factory. Would probably crack 10s (barely) on the 100 octane file

Ok gents - finally doing the jump to an S8 - I have found a 2013 with 34,000 miles - anything I should be looking at or new concerns?
Thanks!!
Did 13's still have issues with the Turbos? There is a TSB but I don't have it on which years for the 4.0t, check Mx records.
Canada has a recall for the oil strainer / scraper that causes turbo failure - Audi Canada has indicated that the VIN in question doesn't have any outstanding issues - I am certain that they didn't actually change the oil strainer until 15 so I have asked how they determine what vehicles qualify...
I am not familiar with Mx records... a link would be appreciated!
Thanks,
I just mean the maintenance history from the previous owner(s) or Audi. I know JH Motorsports makes an improved kit for the strainers.
Got it - I had seen the JHM kit and will likely install it sooner than later. It's interesting - as I said Audi has a recall in Canada for it but it is only specific cars... not sure what the difference would be as I would think that they were all built with the same strainer.
Thanks again!
Bought the car, while it doesn’t look as good as the RS6, the performance is awesome. The car is impeccable. Owner had all of the recalls / maintenance done including the oil strainer.
