The standard one looks good, but the photoshop looks better!

I like :thumb:

Ditto that tazsura, I also think it looks better than stock.

I always prefer stock looking cars, so I like it more than the photoshopped one, but the decision is yours.

Yes, leave it be. Do you really want your car to look like a Golf?

That's actually an elongated Eos grill. I think it gives an agressive and updated look.

Isn't the Phaeton soon-to-be facelifted anyway?

Wouldn't be suprised to see that type of grille on it anyway!

I don't think much of the spy shots posted to date of the facelift.

Fred,
I like the photoshop one ALOT better than the stock. It gives it more a menacing look.

Would love a lead on a Passat with front end damage. I'd like to buy the old parts - a grill and the bumper cover it bolts on to.

Maybe this one is the one I will try to do on my Phaeton. The shield will be difficult because of how it needs to be split between the hood and the bumper cover. The lower grill fitment should be a piece of cake by comparison.

Although the lowered. dub wheeled and scowling snout has some appeal.:music:

Here's a Passat lower grill and cowling in light gray primer, grafted onto the Phaeton bumper cover via the wonders of photoshop. I have a Passat bumper cover to play with. It might actually fit if I cut away averything except what you see in gray (below the license plate).:mech:
