I love the rims, though am I right in thinking that they are not unlike the alloys that come on the TT standard and Audi offer from the options list to upgrade their rims to bi-coloured ones as well.

If the statement from Autoexpress is true that Audi are now not going to produce any higher performance versions above the 3.2L, then whatever the likes of MTM and other are going to offer is the only way to access the true potential from the TT chassis.

I have no doubt that as we speak MTM is currently working on a carbon bonnet and lightened dust caps all in the aid of better weight balance.:D

Is there any work on wheather they will be doing a turbo upgrade for the 3.2L.:hahahehe:

Well regarding the Turbo kit for the V6 3,2, I really doubt it.

Frederic

Spoil sports.

I sinserely hope Audi produce the 2.0TFSi model with quattro because I there's no way I am going to be stuck with a TT with only 250ps.

MTM will develop engine tuning program's for the 2.0T FSI with up to 313 hp and for the 3.2 VR6 up to 350 hp.
The rumour is that MTM are developing there own Compressor set for the 3.2 VR6 engine.
Like they did for the Audi V6 and V8 engine.

It truely a shame, since Audi intentionally handicapped the TT so it will not compete with their cash-cow R8. And if MTM et al decide to make it compete with affordable real sports coupes (m3, SLK63, Cayman S), at what cost?

If the statement from Autoexpress is true that Audi are now not going to produce any higher performance versions above the 3.2L, then whatever the likes of MTM and other are going to offer is the only way to access the true potential from the TT chassis.

Still no word on prices for the mods that MTM are offering? Also after looking at the pictures of the MTM TT, I see it has up-rated brakes but does it also have suspension modifications because it looks to me that it is lowered.

Like the quad pipes.:applause:

Just looked on the MTM site at the prices for the 2.0T TT.

272hp - over 5000 euros.

313hp - over 12000 euros.

Guys that's the most expensive up-grade I have ever seen. Yes it's possibly the best, but man to do pay for it.

Makes the S3 look really cheap now.:thumb:

But is it as good or better than 'magnetic ride'?

I don't think so.

I don't think so.

Hans.

Exactly, so why would someone buy this system over Audi's own?

My thinking is that as a track suspension set-up the MTM will out perform magnetic ride, but won't match it's all rounder ability. Though I have my name down for a BMW Coupe 335i no deposit has changed hands, so I am still keeping my options open in the hope the TT-S will make an appearance before it's too late for me.

Because as I see it, this MTM TT isn't the answer.:noshake:

Jarod,

I don't see a reason why not. Let me ask tomorrow morning.
