Why is there no info on the next A4/A5 when it only 6-9 months away?

The RS6 is equally far away for release yet we know how much power this thing will be kicking out and what gearbox it will use. I know that the name of this forum is 'RS6.COM' that this is the car on must of us would love to own, but the A4 is the bread and butter of Audi and as such should be given the same amount of attention.

The A5 was mentiond in a recent Audi general meeting but don't have any details, other than it confirmed it will be based on a new platform (which I think was the original info floating around anyways).

We do know some things, it will have a new modular platform that will be shared with the A6/A8. Expect a bigger wheelbase.

The engine and the differentials will switch spots for a shorter front overhang.

The 2.0 T should be the base engine (US A4) with 230 hp probably. The V6s will get Audi Valvelift, 300 hp for the 3.2 liter and 270 hp from the 2.8 Valvelift V6. No word on the V8s but theoretically with Valvelift the 4.2 liter V8 could make 400 hp, but I think that Audi will enlarge the V8 to at least 4.5 liters (4.8 has been mentioned as well) Either way, the V8 should have 400 hp.
